Focus and Scope
The OUSL Journal provides a forum for previously unpublished research articles on theory and practice relating to teaching and learning at the University level, in particular but not exclusively in the field of Open and Distance Learning (ODL).
It welcomes contributions from researchers, scholars, practitioners and students all over the world, which demonstrate innovative research in the areas of ODL, Education, Engineering Technology, Natural Sciences, Humanities and Social Sciences, and Health Science. It aims at encouraging sharing of quality research among a broader spectrum of an international audience.
All articles submitted to OUSL Journal will undergo a double-blind peer review by expertise in the area(s) represented by an article.
Articles submitted to the journal are deposited with Crossref and the articles are screened by Crossref Similarity Check.
The journal is published bi-annually.
Open Access Policy
This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
This journal is available for LOCKSS harvesting, to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. See LOCKSS harvesting start page.
